You can view the teacher calendar from the course Dashboard.
You can also click Calendar on the navigation menu to access the full version.
A. The calendar will automatically default to Today (the current day).
B. The View will also default to Day. Click the drop-down to navigate between viewing by Day, Week, or Month.
C. Click the back-and-forth arrows to the left and right of the calendar day to navigate between the days, weeks, or months.
D. Click the Grid or List buttons to toggle between the Display options.
E. Click the Add Event button to add a school event or non-teaching day to the calendar.
F. Click the Go to Legend button to navigate to the bottom of the calendar page to view what each icon means in the calendar.
G.* Click the Edit button (pencil icon) to the right of an event, assignment, or lesson material to make changes to the settings and/or dates.
H.* Click on an Assignment title to navigate to the Assignment Details page or on a Lesson Materials title to open the resource.
*To view the edit option or launch the assignment or lesson material from the Grid Display option, you will first need to click on the day it's assigned. This will open the selection on the right side of the calendar.
Add Events
1. Click the Add Events link.
2. Select the Event Type radio button.
3. Enter an Event Title.
4. Select the Start and End Date.
5. Enter an Event Description. This is optional.
6. Uncheck the Show on Student Calendar if you do not want students to see the event on their calendar.
2. Click on the Options button on the resource tile.
3. Click Add to Calendar from the menu.
4. Select a Start and End Date.
5. Click the Add to Calendar button.
Students will be able to see all Lesson Materials added to the calendar, except for any that are labeled as Teacher Only on the resource tile.
